Event:

The term ‘event’ refers to any course, workshop or event that Marmalade Trust organises.

Booking:

For event costs and dates, please refer to our website www.marmaladetrust.org

Before booking onto an event, please read the event programme and content, to ensure the event will meet your needs.

You agree to these Terms and Conditions and enter into a binding contract with Marmalade Trust when you complete and submit a registration form for an event (including free or subsidised places).

Invoicing and payment:

Event fees (including any card processing and/or booking fees) are payable upon booking.

For online bookings paid at the time of booking, invoices/receipts will be issued electronically from the booking website on completion of booking.

Payment must be made in pounds Sterling by credit/debit card.

Event attendance:

Attendees will receive joining instructions via email to the email address provided in this booking form.

It is the responsibility of the individual completing the event registration form to ensure joining instructions are received. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at info@marmaladetrust.org and arrange for them to be resent

Marmalade Trust will send all correspondence primarily via email to the email provided on the booking form. If alternative details are received after the booking form has been submitted, they will supersede the original details and all future correspondence will be sent to the new email address.

Failure to attend the event at which a free or concessionary rate place was given may at Marmalade Trust’s sole discretion result in the attendee becoming ineligible for such places at future events.

Cancellations and refunds:

All requests for cancellations must be emailed to: info@marmaladetrust.org Your cancellation will take effect on the date we receive your email. For your protection you should keep a copy of any email you have sent to us asking to cancel your booking.

*If we are able to resell your place on the event we will offer an 50% refund of the attendance fee.
+ You will be offered a refund in exceptional circumstances.

 

In the event of cancellation of an event by Marmalade Trust, we will endeavour to inform all attendees one week before the event is due to take place, although please be aware this is not always possible. All event fees will be reimbursed in full or the payment transferred in full to another Marmalade Trust event

It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of Marmalade Trust, to change the content and timing of the programme, the date or the venue. If the new time and date is not convenient for you we will try to offer you an alternative, but if not available you will be given a full refund. In the unlikely event that the event venue needs to be changed no refund will be offered.

Marmalade Trust shall not accept any liability for any consequent loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any costs that may have been incurred, including transport and accommodation costs etc.

Exceptional circumstances:

Exceptional circumstances will need to be discussed with a member of Marmalade Trusts management team

Force Majeure

Marmalade Trust will not be liable to refund of fees or for any other penalty should the event be cancelled due to war, fire, strike lock-out, industrial action, tempest, accident, civil disturbance or any other cause whatsoever by their control

Entire agreement

These terms and conditions, together with the current Marmalade Trust website prices, event details and contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the event. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a member of Marmalade Trust’s management team. In particular, nothing said by any person on behalf of Marmalade Trust should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by Marmalade Trust.  Marmalade Trust shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
